Working Through Stick Control - How?

Hi Guys



I'm not in a position to buy a book I need to continue working my way thru Mark Weesel's lessons on Vic Firth so I decided to print a few pages from Stick Control and go through those.



So here's the question - how do you guys work through the book? Do you:

1. go from cover to cover at one speed and then start again at the next higher speed?


2. go through an entire page at one speed and then do it again but faster?


3. play a single stick pattern at one speed and then get faster?

I'm not sure how best to approach it?



Any advice would be gratefully received.
