Does anyone know if the end piece with the universal joint is the same, besides color? I have the 5002 and want to add another end piece to use as an extension. The part for the 5002/9002 is DW SP-209, while the one for the 7002 is DW SP-972, and I wouldn't think it would be different in function. I can't tell by the pics.
