I have an old Sonor snare with the following strainer/throwoff:
The strainer is broken, and I've attempted to repair it a couple of times. But after a while the tension of having the snares engaged results in the strainer coming apart. I've not been able to find an original replacement or a newer one that fits the horizontal mounting holes.
Someone has suggested I look at one of the Dunnett throws with adjustable mounting screws, but they appear to be only for vertical holes.
Can anyone suggest a replacement strainer with adjustable & horizontal mounting screws? If no such thing exists, I'll have to get an adapter and new throw.
