Need some info on different sounds of where you place the rivets. I've seen cymbals with rivets 1/2" from the edge and some about 3-4 inches from the edge. What changes in the sustain as you move the rivets farther in? Most of the cymbals with rivets I see are 1" - 1 1/2" from the edge. I've only seen a couple of cymbals with it 3-4" in, for example Bill Stewart puts a single rivet about that far in.
