I use as little muffling as possible, maybe a piece of moon gel on my 16" floor tom. It works fine but after a while they moon gel gets pretty dirty.
I just ordered a package of Drumtacs, A bit more expensive than moon gel, $20.00 for 4 of them, plus shipping but thought I would give them a try. I hear that they are pretty good. Anyone using them yet?
