New to the forums and hoping for some insight.

Demo ux heads on toms
I've hated the sound of these drums since I bought them, they sound very boingy, with a lot of sustain, to me it sounds like orchestra sounding with a bassless kick drum. I've done some research and would like some input.
I play stuff like Metallica and sepultura, and would like my bass to sound like pantera.
On my snare and toms I want to go ebony pin stripes over clear ambassadors. For my kick I'm thinking ebony power stroke pro with ebony power stroke 3s. Would that give me the metal sound I'm looking for?
