Just received this today, and made a quickie iPhone recording of it (so please excuse any audio anomalies). 37 years ago I saw Buddy Rich play one of these and fell in love with it - of course, as a 12-year-old kid, I couldn't just go out and get one, and when I got to college, they had a 24" Swish with a couple of rivets that I used when I was there. I finally bought a new Zildjian A Swish Knocker and the sound and sizzle are GLORIOUS! The bell sound is ok, and in the heat of playing, you can't tell it's sizzling like crazy. I'm gonna see if I can use just this cymbal with my 17" hats on a gig.
