even though I want to sell this kit I must admit they're very good drums. I recently returned them and the 13" and 16" tune like a breeze from no tension. I have an issue with the 12" tom where two lugs across from each other hard hard to tune. snare sounds amazing, great crack and breath. come to think of it that 12" tom on the imperialstar was out of tune easier as well. like my 12" vb tom sounds great and plays great, but when it comes down to it tuning two tension rods across from each other are finicky. thumb hurt for a bit from turning the girls let me tell you.
it's just that I want a ddrum reflex rock set and how I'm going to do it is sell my pearl vision, buy friends pearl export fusion at low cost, keep hardware sell export, and buy new drums with the money lol. the cymbals I am kinda regretting not getting aax I want to try them out you know how it goes, but could always stick with zildjian a for a bit.
