Sorry so many questions but I figured if you want answers that are not from somebody trying to make a commission ask other drummers.
What I am looking for is a kit that I can practice on, a daily basis as well as do some recording thru, I am a heavy hitter (unfortunately) but need something that is going to take a beating, the drums will probably never leave my house so road wear is not a factor the voices don't have to be greatly diverse but I like to play sometimes and you never know what you might use or need in a song.
The Roland TD 11 k and the TD 11 kv what are the differences and are the differences more "cosmetic" than anything. Does the word compact mean smaller in all aspect of height and width and does it hamper playing in anyway meaning am I able to adjust the heights of toms and snare to my liking or is it limited.
Yamaha DTX 522k and 532K same here what are the differences, I know the snare head is upgraded and the toms are all rubber I could always upgrade the toms later and how durable are they.
In the case of all drums is the actual hi hat stand that great of difference and how well does the mounted hat and separate pedal respond and feel.
how are those drums with a double pedal is the response good on edges of kick pad.
are the racks a good bit adjustable or are they set and play.
