I've used Regal Tip for a while now because I like the lacquer finish on them. However, I recently got a pair and the coating doesn't seem to be what it used to be, it seems to have a lot thinner of a finish more like standard VicFirth/ProMark/Vater. Anyone know if they just started to do it like this, or did I just get a weird pair?
