I just recieved a zildjian zxt 16" crash I bought of ebay for no more than £10 including postage.
The first thing I thought to do was clean the cymbal due to the previous owner obviously having an interest in dirty cymbals. Whilst cleaning I discovered a crack (about 2") on the edge of the cymbal which was not mentioned in the description. Im not too bothered about this as there is no point sending it back or anything as I payed next to nothing for the cymbal so I might as well keep it.
So my questions are :
1) Will this crack make a huge sound difference?
2) Is it worth keeping/using this cymbal?
3) If so, what is the best way to prevent the crack from getting any worse?
Thanks in advance
