Got a chance to buy either a 2nd hand 14x5 Pearl Sensitone Elite Brass (actually the 10-lug model before the "Elite" brand) or a 2nd hand 14" Mapex Black Panther Maple with die-cast hoops (actually the "Mapex Deluxe" model before the "Black Panther" brand) at about the same price.
Which is more a "keeper"? I will play mainly low volume pop/rocks or acoustic jazz. I'm looking for a more articulate sound.
