I bought a used Acrolite online, in great shape, killer drum. The head on it is a standard Ludwig weathermaster white coated head. Under the logo is printed Heavy. I am not sure exactly how this this is, never haveing used Ludwig heads. It is one ply, and I wonder if it is close to a Remo coated Ambassador, or heavier? The "heavy" stamp is what is throwing me off.
What is this head thickness?
