Seems to be the thing to do...so I got one too :) 1965 Keystone Acrolite. I replaced the stock reso-head that was pretty beat up with a Remo Hazy. And the stock Ludwig snares with Puresound Blasters and replaced the snare cable with new Ludwig snare cable. I put a new coated Ambassador on it and get a GREAT sound. Amazing drum for the cost! Came with the original 'suitcase' snare case as well. I kept all the original things I replaced. Really like the P-83 strainer - simple and does the job.
