Hello! I'm looking to buy a new kit and sell my Gretsh Catalina Maple and I'm interested in a 6-shell kit: pdp concept,Mapex Armory, Tama Silverstar ,tama Super-star and sonor Essential and I will like to buy a kit that I don't have to replace all the heads on the day 1.
I serch a lot and I have seen that Mapex Armory came with Remo UX that they are inferior than the Remo's UT that came from Sonor and pdp.
Who makes the Powercraf ii that provides Tama with superstar series? And which are the heads on Silverstar? Any experience with those remo's factory heads?
I see also that the only that cames with Die-cast hoops are the tama superstar, the others triple-flange hoops will not twist if I tune the drums well since the first day? I had bad experiency with my Gretsch, now they has a lot of hoops twisted.
