Someone asked me a question today that I could not answer.What exactly is the difference between the two? This is for a Dad who's buying his son an upgrade snare on a budget. The prices look about the same. I wanted to find out if one was substantially better than the other one before the Meridians diasappear from store shelfs. I've seen and heard the MPXs and they're good snares for the price but they seemed to be missing something. Now, this is coming from a Black Panther guy. I've also heard a Meridian maple from a friends kit but it's hard to remember if it was significantly better than the MPXs. Any advice would be great.
