So I'm designing myself a jazz kit and for cymbals I really dig the Jazz Sweet ride by meinl for a main ride and I looking to do a dual ride setup. For the left I was initially thinking the big apple ride as I do like it, but the more I listen to videos of both, the more similar they are. Almost to the point where they are pretty much the same cymbal save for the name. Anyone have any better info on the manufacturing differences?
I was also thinking maybe I should go for a drier ride on the left for higher contrast, but I do want crashability as it will only be 2 rides and a pair of hats.
Trying to keep them both 20" too.
