I'm a returning drummer after many years of absence. I'm finding when I sit down to play along to the song that I want to learn my right hand gets fatigued before the song's even over. I feel like my grip is good...stick sitting between my first and second joint of my index finger, back of palms straight up, relaxed grip, etc. I thought it was because the muscles of my right hand have not been used like this in a long time so when I'm at work - which is a lot of driving - I have a soft foam ball that I exercise my hand with a lot to help build up the muscles.
Could this be just muscle fatigue or something more? I think I also do suffer from poor circulation because at times I get tingling in my fingers and hand. Thanks for the help!
