Hello again:
Here is a snare that was part of log-jam of used drums I recently bought cheaply.
10 Lugs
14 x 5 inch
Chrome over Steel
Made In Taiwan - has the small gold Taiwan sticker still on
Hoops Made in Taiwan
No Trademarks Visible inside
Old Sticker that has been peeled away but shown in photo.
Sorry, I cannot get the 2nd photo to edit down in size - my apologies!
I am assuming that this might be a MarkII - 10 Lug snare ? I have no idea.
MKII, ProMark, ???? again, I have no idea. Not A Clue.
The crazy thing about this 10 lug Taiwanese dirty, messy thing, is that I cannot get my 2 Acrolites to sound as good as this this thing at the moment. Lol
I has such a nice meaty crack, but not the least bit overly offensive. The resonant head is an old Pacfic Clear with Duct-Tape all over it, probably to stop it from ringing, and the batter is an old Remo Pinstripe, but Damn, this disgusting looking thing has some ambition.
If anybody can tell me what Brand of Snare this is, please let me know.
I thank you in advance …….
Tim
