Anyone have any experience with this kit? Looks like it may be exclusive to Canada, and maybe some parts of Europe. Seems to be part of the Special Edition Series, with the Martini, Safari, etc., except this is maple, not poplar.

I'm new to drumming and am enjoying learning jazz techniques, even though I do not play jazz, so this kit seems like it might be more practical long term with the larger bass.
Mostly wondering how the tambre would compare to the Safaris which have gotten so much love, since these are (possibly cheap) maple.
