Hi fellow drummers, need your input here... Just bought a new Pearl MCX Masters kit (maple) and I'm trying to get opinions on kick batters for this kit. I play mainly classic rock, country, blues etc.. I just replaced all stock tom heads with Evans G2 coated over G1 clears and Im trying to decide between an Emad 1 ply or Emad 2ply. Or any other suggestions that you guys have. I'm obviously looking for a good deep fat punch that will go along with the fat tom sound that I have. Can I get that from a single ply? Or should I try something in the 2 ply range?... Thanks
