What is it?

So the drummer for Casting Crowns is playing a box that he is sitting on. What is this "box" called?

I like the sound and think its creative. Sounds good with the song. I have no idea what its called! Is it homemade or can someone purchase one?

Casting Crowns "Thrive"

Thanks!
