I generally play on Zildjian A Quick Beat hats, and recently have been thinking I want something brighter. I bought a full set of Sabian B8 Pro in pieces on ebay for my practice space kit and those $60 hats have really impressed me. We have a gig this weekend and I'm pretty certain the B8's are going with me. I even got asked twice last night by the guitarist to close them a bit during verses because they were cutting through the vocals..lol. I've only played on B8's one other time and was impressed but I didn't think I'd be swapping them for a $350 pair. The 16 B8 crash is also impressive. I'm thinking about adding it in with my 18 and 19" A customs. Weird.
