I'm wondering if anyone on good authority can answer this question. What tempo would/should classic rudimental solo's such as Wilcoxin's 150 or the rudimental swing solo's be performed at? My assumption is that anywhere between 90-120bpm might be considered acceptable. But, I'm wondering how much room tempo might vary from player to player and still be considered "correct" by the old time masters.
