Hey guys,
My name is Dave and I've recently just joined the forum.
I currently play the following setup
Drums: SJC Custom Kit (Birch with Maple Re-rings)
22X20 Bass drum
16x16 Floor Tom
12x8 Mount Tom
14X6 Snare
Cymbals:
Zildjian ZBT hi-hat 14"
Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash 16"
Zildjian ZBT Ride 20"
Zildjian ZBT China 16"
Zildjian ZBT Splash 10"
I just sold off an 18" Tosco Full Crash Cymbal and I'm looking to replace it with something I can really dig into. The full crash had too high overtones and didnt sound awesome in recordings as I needed to compress the living hell out of it in the mix. I like to play metal like A Day to Remember, and pop-punk stuff like Green Day. I also like a lot of blink-182 which I play a lot of covers of, and I dub into the world of jazz, mainly swing and latin grooves such a bombossa(I can't spell). In plain english, I need a crash cymbal good for all that and preferably zildjian. Any ideas?
