2.3 mm Hoops vs Power-Hoops

I can't find any info on Gretsch's or Pearls site with regards to their 2.3 mm hoops. My new Gretsch Retro-Luxe snare has 2.3 mm hoops, and I have a set of Pearl Power-Hoops and was wondering if anyone knew if they are of the same quality or if the the Power-hoops are any better quality. Thanks
