I'm in quest for a particular ride cymbal.
I've played a B8 20" Pro Ride, Paiste 2002 20" Ride, and an 80's early edition Sabian Medium Heavy 20" Ride.
Would like:
- Relatively thin & light.
- Nothing more than a 20". I'm not opposed to a 18 or 19, but I like playing a 20.
- Short sustain (This is highest priority. I hate lightly riding my cymbals with a nylon stick and it ringing forever.)
- I like to play the bell, so a somewhat playable decent size bell would be great.
- I'm absolutely cool with vintage cymbals and used cymbals if it means finding the right cymbal.
- My absolute max is 250. I don't mind buying used and actually prefer it, so if I a great cymbal that is usually 400 goes for 250 used, I'm open to that.
