I have been using EKits on my Axis A long board single pedals for a long time and have never encountered any issues. I recently moved them over to my long board double pedal, but am having an issue with the hammer moving down.
I've read about this issue occasionally before and it sounds like this happens because of the angle of the beater. I play with the beater pretty far back and am wondering how I can mod the pedal to get it to work. The problem does not happen when the beater is positioned close to the head.
Basically, after setting it up and tightening everything properly, the hammer on the primary pedal slowly slips down closer and closer to the trigger surface. It is bumping on something as the pedal rebounds.
I did read about someone filing a piece out of the pedal in order to stop the problem, and I'm willing to try that. Thoughts?
