Hey, guys!
I don't post here much but I have run across a couple of people (actually three, besides the Man, himself, who have put together their own Ronnie Tutt tribute kits right down to the correct cymbal layout and the four concert toms that was on Ronnie's original set from the 1970s during the early days of Elvis's return to the road.
Two guys who have done this are Udo Masshoff & Brad Swiger from Germany and Texas, respectively. They're both killer drummers!
Even though I'm disabled (have been since birth), I would give or do just about anything to have a drum kit like that famous blue sparkle kit of RT's from Ludwig.
My question is: If I go directly through Ludwig (as Udo did!) to try and put a set together, exactly how much $$$ would I be looking at spending versus trying to find all of the stuff needed on EBay?
Another problem is that I will need/want a kind of soundproofed building to play them????
Any help with this at all would be very helpful and appreciated.
