So I am a rather new player with 5 years of playing experience, and I love doing rimshots, a lot. The issue I have is that my snare starts slowly moving towards me mid song, or jam, and I have to move it back to it's original spot after 5 minutes of playing. My stand is a Mapex Armory Series S800 Snare Drum Stand, so nothing too bad. Is there something I could put under the feet of the stand, or is there some other solution? I think my snare moves back as well, even without all the rimshots, however not as fast. Thanks a lot in the future!
Snare Rim Shot Issue
