Hi folks
My better half is sending me on a snare building weekend in a few months and the more I think about, the more I realise how much I've relied on my supras. I only have one wooden snare and it's not that great compared to the supras.
If anyone could offer me any advice re: woods/bearing edges it would be much appreciated.
I'm going for a the 14x6.5 route for versatility,10 lugs. But thats about all I'm certain on. I do like rosewood but I've only heard youtube vids of the Gretsch full range and the AVH signature. But bubinga is all kinds of nice too. There's also the option to pay 120 quid exta for a steam bent maple shell.
Decisions, decisions!
