Pearl Soprano Snare Problems

I've owned a Pearl 12x7 Soprano Snare for over ten years. I've always loved the sound and performance until a little while back I removed the lugs to clean the shell. When I reattached the lugs the screws began to strip and I've now had to lugs completely fail me (the screws attaching the lugs to the shell stripped and now the lugs won't hold to the shell). I've seen a one other person online complain about issues with the lugs. I called Pearl and they said I'd have to take it up as a warranty issue with the store that sold it to me which was Mars Music which so happens not to exist anymore. So now basically I have a good sounding snare with lugs that are failing one by one. I'm not exactly sure what to do.
