I did my first drum recording session a few months ago - a friend of mine was recording her latest record and they needed some heavier drumming for one of the songs so they asked me to do it. The band is more jazz/folk/classical/rhythm oriented, so they wanted someone who could rock it out. Right up my alley, then!
The record came out 2 weeks ago and it went straight to the finnish top10. She's not a "mainstream" artist, so to say, but she's been getting a lot of exposure lately, so that was pretty cool. Im happy for her!

The drumming comes in after around 2:30, but it's a beautiful song and the beginning of the track sets a great mood, so if you got six minutes it's better to listen to it as a whole - even tho the lyrics are in finnish :)
And yes - I played my Vistalites in the studio
